Part 1:
Starting with a 16in x 16in x 4in mass, 50% of the volume was to be removed while changing its centroid from the center (8in away from each side) to 6in away from two sides and 10in away from the other. To prove that the centroid was moved, it had to be balanced on a designed stand.

The removed pieces of part 1 were to be incorporated while still maintaining its centroid from the center (8in away from each side) to 6in away from two sides and 10in away from the other.
